State Employees' Charitable Campaign

CHAIRPERSON'S CHECKLIST

  • Announce campaign and request appointment of Department Captains.**

  • Establish the Department/Agency campaign timetable.

  • Attend SECC training session.

  • Establish and maintain regular contact with your Department/Agency Captains.

  • Develop campaign promotion plans.

  • Assure that all materials are received.

  • Train Captains.**

  • Develop internal Department/Agency goals as appropriate.

  • Organize campaign kick-off within each Department.

  • Provide reports to the SECC Coordinator in the Office of Management and Budget, Human Resource Management.

  • Arrange for weekly delivery of all pledges, pledge cards, and pledge listings to the SECC Administrator, United Way.

  • Develop campaign reporting plan for individual Department/Agency.

  • Create/maintain a file on the campaign for future reference.

  • Recognize and thank campaign volunteers through an established Department/Agency recognition program.

** Will vary according to size of Department/Agency.
