STEPS TO SUCCESSFUL SOLICITATION
Introduce yourself.
Make a positive, friendly introduction. Check your co-worker's awareness of SECC supported services and explain why you give yourself.Give co-workers reasons to support SECC.
Tell co-workers how much good their payroll deductions will do.
Explain to co-workers that they can designate their contribution.
Answer questions.
Ask for a pledge.
After encouraging a co-worker to give using payroll deduction, a painless way of contributing, ask for a pledge. The pledge card can then be completed.Ask each employee to fill out a pledge card.
Those who do not wish to contribute can mark the appropriate box.Say thanks.
Take the time to personally thank each person who has contributed. Remind everyone that his/her pledge will make a difference.
